For close to 100 years, The John Thomas Dye School has been the beloved home of generations of children and their families. From our founding in 1929 on our Brentwood campus to the current location nestled in the hillside of Bel Air, JTD students have flourished alongside one another – learning what it means to be a student, an athlete, an artist, and a friend – but more importantly, how to live by our core values, The 5C’s.

JTD families come from many different lived experiences, yet all feel a deep connection to the mission and values of the School. Together with our dedicated faculty, this commitment to raising children with strong academic expectations and an equal emphasis on character development sets JTD apart and creates a uniquely strong bond among our families.

I look forward to spending more time with you throughout the admissions process and encourage you to contact the Admissions Office with questions.

Thank you for your interest in The John Thomas Dye School!

Warmly,
