Spread the Love!

By Kate Merritt
On a chilly February morning, JTD students poured into John Dye Hall to decorate valentines.
These valentines weren't for students' friends or loved ones--they were part of an annual project put on by our community service partner, Big Sunday. Each February, Big Sunday partners with a local retirement center to ensure that no one is forgotten on Valentine's Day. Volunteers from Big Sunday took the cards made by JTD students to St John of God Retirement & Care Center, where they distributed them to senior citizens, along with goodie bags, at an age-friendly dance class and brunch.

Happy Valentine's Day!
