The Year of the Rabbit

By Kate Merritt
This year, January 22 marks the start of Lunar New Year, a celebration honored by many cultures across Asia.
To celebrate, JTD students were invited to visit John Dye Hall during morning recess to learn about various Lunar New Year customs, discover symbols from each culture, and make connections to their own experiences. Led by Faculty and Staff who celebrate Lunar New Year, students were invited to check out books, taste foods, and do crafts to celebrate The Year of the Rabbit!
