Upper School Teachers Present at National Conference

By Hayley Roberts
On December 3, Upper School Social Studies Teachers Megan DiNoia and Colleen Morrissey represented JTD at the National Council for Social Studies (NCSS) Annual Conference in Philadelphia, PA.
Megan and Colleen presented a workshop entitled "Using Inquiry and Workshop to Reimagine Traditional Units." In this workshop, Colleen and Megan helped other teachers from around the United States to reimagine existing units, content areas, and projects through the lens of inquiry and a researchers’ workshop. They shared tools to help center student voice, practice critical thinking skills, and grow core skill development using practical strategies.

We're so proud of our teachers for sharing their knowledge with a wider audience!
