Books 'n Bears

By Kate Merritt
This year, JTD once again collaborated with past parent, Pat Jackson, to provide books to Los Angeles inner city youth in a program started by Pat's daughter, JTD alumna Tiana Woolridge '05.

Each year, JTD donates dollars earned in the School's Scholastic Book Fair to be used to purchase books for students in Los Angeles. Pat Jackson then distributes the books, along with a teddy bear, in the annual Books ‘n Bears event.
